General Commentary and Game Overview
In case you (somehow) didn't see any of the other reviews or comments for this game, SM64: Really Good Edition is a "joke game" that pokes fun at a lot of today's Internet memes; MLG references such as Dorito's, the Snoop Dog gif (you know which one I'm talking about), that really annoying screaming noise, etc., as well as your standard Trollface (accompanied by the Trololol music), various references to Vinesauce, and, of course, Donald Trump. It also contains many "high quality rips" from the SilvaGunner channel on YouTube, which, aside from the Bob-Omb Battlefield/I Am the Walrus mashup (I'm sorry, I really don't like The Beatles), are all very entertaining to listen to. Oh, yeah, and Smooth McGroove (how can you go wrong with him?).

This is my first time reviewing a "joke game" on this site, so unlike my other reviews, I'll mostly be judging the game based on its "joke game" nature, rather than how good the game actually is. In other words, "is this a funny game?" rather than "is this a functional game?".

Pros +The game has rather humorous and "meme-filled" spins on each mission from the original Super Mario 64, plus a seventh mission that basically says "congratulations, you did it, have a bonus star".

+SilvaGunner and Smooth McGroove (do I really need to say more?)

+Decent controls that actually make this "joke game" rather fun to play, while not trying too hard to be funny (unlike other "joke games" such as Toad's Typical Day or P2013X).

Cons -In addition to newer and "lesser-used" memes, the game also has a lot of "overused memes", such as the aforementioned MLG stuff, Sanic, and Trollface. You can only see them so many times before you get rather bored of them.

-I know I said I was going to mostly judge the game based on how it does its job as a "joke game", but I can't help but bring up just how difficult the Pringle King fight and the Sanic race can be. For the Pringle King, he occasionally spits yellow chips that don't harm you and you can stomp on them to send them back at him, which is your only method of attack. Okay, that's fine, but why do the orange chips (that explode after a set time) only explode when I'm right in front of them? It was difficult to get the timing down on these things, and every time I tried to pass by them and get away, they exploded, removing two health points (or "Pizza Pies"), and dropping coins which only restore one health point. I tried jumping over them, but the explosions were too big. As for the Sanic race, Sanic always moves at a constant speed, and rather than jumping over walls when he collides with them, he simply snaps himself to the higher ground. You, on the other hand, need to jump, wall-jump, and avoid Goombas and Bob-Ombs. As someone who's been playing Mario games for over 15 years, my natural instinct was to jump over Goombas, but since they jump rather high in this game, it's hard to jump over them without taking damage (and yes, this game has knockback). Finally, I figured the best thing to do would be to ignore all enemies and just walk past them, and attempt to jump, double-jump, and triple-jump to avoid getting stopped by walls. It worked. Thankfully, both of these missions were the very first missions in the game, so once I finished the Sanic mission, it was smooth sailing for the rest of the journey.

-Beatles music. Like I said, I REALLY do not like The Beatles. This won't bring down the game's score, since that wouldn't be very fair, it's just a personal nitpick.

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
For a "joke game", this game actually controls fairly nicely, and aside from the Pringle King and Sanic missions, every mission in this game was pretty easy. The only major problem I had with gameplay, aside from the two aforementioned missions, were the explosions; Bob-Ombs don't seem to have a set timer, as some explode about three seconds after they activate, and others explode after about one second. The explosions are also rather large, and it can sometimes be a problem avoiding them. Aside from that, however, this game knows how to do its job as a "joke game" without trying too hard to be funny.

Graphics
8 / 10
In tradition of most "joke games", the graphics were lazily made on purpose, but they actually look alright. They're not too hard on the eyes, the colors are just right, it looks decent.

Sound
8 / 10
Aside from the Beatles music, this game's soundtrack is very enjoyable. With the exception of the one Smooth McGroove piece, all music comes directly from the SilvaGunner channel, and as we all know, the one person behind all the channel's content only uploads high-quality rips.

Replay
5 / 10
I would probably play this game again sometime in the future, but like Toad and the Ancient Keys, it's one of those games that you play once, put away for a long time, and come back to when there's not much else to do.

Final Words
7 / 10
10/10 too much memes -IGN

Nah, but on a serious note, this game was actually fun to play. It's a "joke game" that plays well and doesn't try too hard to be funny, unlike most "joke games" you'll find on here.
