General Commentary and Game Overview
It was a fun game with nice level design, music, and graphics, but was lacking in a few places. Overall a... decent experience. The Physics are a bit off-putting though...

Pros - The graphics are quite faithful to the originals from Super Mario Land 2.
- The music is spot on and takes me back to when I was a kid playing my Gameboy.
- The Game isn't too short and had potential to be a great long term play... but...

Cons - The physics, oh lord the physics are... not atrocious, but are nonetheless a bit bad. There is no momentum to Mario's movements and the speed transition between walking and running can catch you off guard.
- Mario's walk cycle is a bit slow and mechanical. Speeding up the walk cycle could easily fix this problem though.

Impressions
Gameplay
3 / 10
Mario's movement has little momentum and jumps to high speed when running with no discernible acceleration. I eventually got used to it, but the running still catches me off guard. definitely the low point of this programme.

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics are true to Super Mario Land 2 and they hit me with a wave of nostalgia, but, as I said earlier, Mario's walk cycle is a bit slow. It doesn't detract much from the score, but it does prevent it from getting a 10/10.

Sound
10 / 10
All in all, there is nothing wrong with the music. The themes fit the levels and worlds, and remind me of the good old days.

Replay
6 / 10
I didn't find much replay value in the game because, by the end of it, I felt I had done the game good enough to set it aside. The main cause of that being the wonky physics. Sorry to keep bringing it up, but it's the truth.

Final Words
5 / 10
Not a bad game, but if you can't get used to the wonky physics, then you'll have a bad time with the game.
