General Commentary and Game Overview
Bob-Ball is a game similar to breakout, using a Bob-Omb instead of a ball. It also includes Mario power ups and, of course, Mario styled graphics such as brick blocks, those birds from the Yoshi series (I think...) and lets not forget the Bob-omb ball.

Pros + Good mechanics
+ Interesting and unique power ups
+ Seemingly no glitches

Cons - Rather repetitive music
- No real way to aim the bob-omb, which is something most breakout clones should improve on

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
When I first played this I instantly assumed it was going to be like one of those cheap breakout rip-offs you can buy for 2 bucks on an app store. I was right, but wrong. Yes, it used the same old breakout thing which was kind of cheap, I think. But the items were well thought out like the mushroom that grew your board. It adds interest, but it's not really anything new.

Graphics
7 / 10
The graphics were mostly custom, and graphics not made by the creator were given credit. Thankfully, the usage of different people's sprite did not clash in this game. I probably would rank it higher, but the graphics are rather simple, and there is not much detail. Well done, though.

Sound
7 / 10
The music was good. It was MIDI, I don't see why it was necessary to have MIDIs but whatever. They sounded pretty high quality for MIDIs, but my real complaint is that it's fairly repetitive. It gets kind of old, and I had turned down my volume to avoid getting a headache. Other than the repetitiveness, it's not bad.

Replay
8 / 10
Well minigames are meant to have more replay value than most games. This one had some replay value, but not to the addicting point. I might play it every now and then.

Final Words
7 / 10
While being creative in certain ways, it's really just an average breakout clone.

Thanks for the review! Though, what's supposed to come after "and" in the overview? I can tell that it was cut off.

"Birds from the Yoshi series"? You mean Goonies? (Of course, I still remember this pseudo-enemy after playing Yoshi's New Island on my 3DS!)

Yeah, sure.
