General Commentary and Game Overview
Here we are, it's the third game in The Miraculous Boss Battle III, the worst received game of the bunch, and I am SO VERY RELIEVED that I am finally reviewing the last game, which officially means I can continue reviewing other games, and finally end this putrid series!

Let's do this!

Pros +At least you have a SLIGHT hint on how to beat the boss
+Nice music

Cons -Ugliest graphics of the bunch
-It asks if you want to play again
-Thwomps are horribly implemented
-DEFAULT GAME MAKER ENGINE!!!
-There isn't even a title screen
-Mario dies in one hit
-The "boss" is a wimp

Impressions
Gameplay
1 / 10
As with the last two games, this game uses the default Game Maker platform engine, so don't be surprised if the movement is very stiff and jumping is very floaty.

Instead of a title screen, you get three default Game Maker textboxes that say

Ready

Set

GO!

And then the game starts. Yep, you heard me right, this game doesn't have a title screen. Not that it's surprising for a shovelware game, as it seems to happen in all mediocre Hello SMB1 engine games.

Mario appears to be standing on the outside of a castle, judging by the background (Which I'll be more elaborate on in the Graphics section).

Also, it appears that Mario sorta sunk into the ground. I'm not very sure WHAT went wrong here, but then again, I'm not really a wiz at Game Maker, so I'm not even gonna question it.

As you can see, the pillars from the first and second game are back, only difference being is that they look like ladders! So...let's call them ladders. So if you're expecting ANYTHING new with these features...YOU'RE WRONG, because Mario still grows raccoon ears, he still appears behind the ladder, and the ladder controls feel all the same.

There was one new feature implemented into the game: the "Thwomp". These thwomps are white squares with jagged spikes that just screams MS Paint. And if you're expecting they're normal Mario behaviour: YOU'RE WRONG, again. instead, they constantly go up and down, no matter how close or far away Mario may be. In fact, there is a part where there's a long stretch of land with thwomps mindlessly bashing the ground. Trust me, it's not hard, but it's extremely boring, too, so you aren't likely to die a lot.

Speaking of dying, let's talk about something I didn't mention: dying. Mario dies instantly in one hit, but the only way that he COULD die is by the thwomp. The reason why I didn't mention it in the reviews for the first two games is that there wasn't much to it: and it's the same here, only difference being that YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER!!! :D :D :D :D :D Not that it is really easy to die thanks to the severe lack of new obstacles.

As for omitted features, we still have the coin and fake blocks, and the new omitted feature are fireballs (THANK GOD).

Now what about that boss battle? You know, what the game is about? Boss battles?

Well, you are challenged by a giant thwomp that lost his top spikes, which means Mario can jump on him! But seriously, this HAS to be the easiest boss of the three. Seriously, I can list steps on how to beat him.

1. Walk up to him
2. Jump on him and wait for his health bar to go empty
3. YOU WIN!!!

Seriously, this has to be the most defenseless boss I've ever seen in a Mario fangame ever. He doesn't even DO anything. He just sits there and waits to be killed. He's practically a sitting duck, even. I'm not even sure IF the boss was supposed to do something, either.

And then Mario gets stuck in a box, and for some reason, a normal thwomp falls into a hole. Then the credits box come up. You press OK and..."Do you want to play again?" NO, THANKS! Seriously, did awesomeface think that ANYONE would replay this game? I don't think so.

Bad.

Graphics
1 / 10
Oh god. This game looks putrid.

There's a SMB3 Mario, NSMBWii fortress blocks, a HORRIBLY STRETCHED JPEG'D sunset background, MS Paint scribbled thwomps, and a boss health bar.

Now let me be elaborate on the last three.

The HORRIBLY STRETCHED JPEG'D sunset background was obviously found by searching "sunset" on Google, and it's severely JPEG'd. It seems like Game Maker screwed up and and horribly stretched it. Seriously, Horrible resizing + JPEG = DISASTER!!

The MS Paint scribbled thwomps look effortless; as if awesomeface opened MS Paint, used the square tool, did a freehand MS Paintjob on the spikes, and didn't even color it. Seriously, we have SMB3 thwomps already! Why couldn't you use them? What, were they too small?

As for the boss health bar, awesomeface made a rectangle, colored it yellow, and then added a super basic shine effect to it.

They ALL horribly clash with each other.

The proportions are horrible as well; Mario is really small compared to the thwomps and tiles.

Bad.

Sound
2 / 10
Well, the sound is probably the best thing about this game.

Music wise, it's from Capcom, and I'm still not sure what that music is from, but what I am sure about is that it's better than the horrible Keeevvviiinnn music in the first game.

Sadly, sound wise, I could not find any, so the only thing you'll hear is the music.

Bad.

Replay
1 / 10
No way, the graphics are terrible, gameplay stinks, boss is too easy, and that "Do you want to play again?" textbox won't do anything, either, since there are ZERO secrets.

Final Words
1 / 10
Easily the worst game of the trilogy.

I can't tell if awesomeface was trying his best or he was being lazy and whipped up these three..."GAMES".

What I can tell though? These games are horrible, and I'm FINALLY DONE WITH THIS SERIES.
