General Commentary and Game Overview
Hummm... when one considers the affairs in which fan games are made, often times we like to shine a negative light on the subject. But why wouldn't it? Joke games seem to be a staple feature in the community, and that has deterred talented designers to create quality games. In essence, I am saying Super Mario Everything 2 is one of those games that gives us a reason to frown on the concept of fan games, filled with excuses that don't make up for shoddy craftsmanship.

Pros +It's got Mario in it, that's good, right?

Cons - One powerup? And Mario doesn't even change
- Bad level design
- Lackluster controls
- Sudden level ends?
- Poopy choice in music

Gameplay
1 / 10
"Don't expect to enjoy it very much - it's pretty awful. But, that said, it has something of a charm to it! A very stupid charm, but a charm nonetheless."

Well, you're half right, it is pretty awful, and that's putting it lightly. The physics of the game would have you fooled by presenting itself with a very smooth experience as you traverse the levels, but these are merely attempts to hide the slipperiness that comes with it. You can't run from a standstill, you have to be walking first before you can run, otherwise you'll just stand in place like a dumbass. In some of the levels there are some pretty tricky jumps because of platform and enemy placements, but luckily for Mario he's gained the ability to accelerate to running speed in the air... provided he's moving first.

Oh, right, let's talk about the level design. It's bad. Like... really bad. I believe the creator of this game said he had a negative review on LNM, yeah? I don't know what it is that you said, but practice what you preach, because even the first LNM game had better level design AND physics... well, had better everything, let's be honest. Your only powerup is the fire flower, but this turns out to be more of hindrance than a tool to help you out because there are many instances you have to jump on an enemy's head to bounce yourself to a higher platform, but low and behold, if you happen to shoot the enemy you need to bounce on, you've just screwed yourself over. I hope it felt good too, because you'll be doing it a couple times before you realize the poorly programmed fireballs are worthless. They don't even give you an extra hit nor change your color, and it doesn't stay with you when you clear the stages.

And speaking of clearing the stages, you'll never know when a stage ends because it just sorta does, no goal post to indicate you've beaten the level or anything, you'll just disappear and a very unfitting victory theme will play.
Alright, there's more stuff to pick apart but by now you know it sucks. It has no charm for anybody but the creator, so don't let his lie fool you into thinking otherwise.
Oh, and watch out for the one-up mushroom on the water level over the log you can't jump on... it's a trap and the designer should feel bad.

Graphics
7 / 10
You want to talk about graphical charm? Late Night Mario had graphical charm, and you said bad things about that game? None of the graphics used here were original, so it would be unfair to judge the graphics at all... I suppose they don't clash, so hey, that's nice, right? But why do fireballs squish goombas? That doesn't make any sense... then again, neither does this game, so whatever. Keep in mind the score I give here does not reflect my thoughts on Vitiman's sprite work, for he did none, but the reflection of the original source.

Sound
2 / 10
Poop. It's just Sonic music with an awkward Metroid victory theme placed in there. Unfitting and I don't like it. Oh, and Mario's jump sound effect plays every time you press the jump button.

Replay
1 / 10
This game would be great to play again only to show other people how NOT to design a game, so in that sense it has great replay value.

Final Words
1 / 10
Every time a horrible joke of a game (not to be confused with a well designed joke game) is made, a little kitten gets ran over and crushed. MFGG has caused a lot of kitty deaths, we don't need other games like this coming in.

Perchance did I shoot your dog at some point there, bud?

Jokes aside, while this review makes many excellent points (namely, the lousy level design and the horrible, sloppy physics), you really went out of your way to emphasize some of those points, didn't ya?

Hah, I kid, I kid. Overall, a decent review, but the comparisons to LNM were a mite unnecessary since these games have very little in common. Also, you could perhaps hold back a little bit? I mean, you seem to get fairly worked up over what's basically just a really below average fangame XD

From what I can tell, this pickle has always been sour. :)

Interesting that you'd criticize this game (a scrapped game from four years ago, mind you) and attempt to explain how the game is designed poorly when the games you've submitted to this site make it bluntly obvious that you don't know the first damn thing about game design yourself. Rushing to make an unplayable or near-unplayable game without bothering to polish it or even making it look decent does not give you the right to bash other peoples' work, especially if it's a scrapped game like this one. Even if you've made a few points here, this review is still entirely hypocritical. It's like making a bad sandwich, seeing someone else make a sandwich that's just as bad, and criticizing them for making a bad sandwich. Also:

I'm sorry but that was the funniest 'final words' I've ever read. Like, ever. And I've seen some HILARIOUS 'final words' in my day.
