General Commentary and Game Overview
One day, Bowser finds a piece of jewelery and is able to switch dimensions with it. So he uses the alternate dimension to build an empire and eventually take over the Mushroom Kingdom. So now it's up to Mario and the self-named green Boo, "Polter", to stop him.

This game has a dimension switching feature, where you may switch to an alternate world where music is disorted and warped, which in necessary to collect Star Coins and advance in the levels.

Pros + Dimension switching
+ Most original storyline since Abducted Toad
+ Awesome 8-bit remixes for music
+ Custom 8-bit SMB3 graphics

Cons - Slow paced at times
- Dimension switching can sometimes be....fatal

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
First off, no one in the history of MFGG has even considered the idea of dimension switching. It's an original and fun gameplay gimmick, where the main focus of the game relies upon. Other than that, it's just like Super Mario Bros. 3.

Graphics
10 / 10
Think hard, When was the last time you've seen a game with 8-bit SMB3 styles graphics? There's also some custom graphics that blends in perfectly with the rest of the game and doesn't clash...and, amazingly, it followed the three-color rule.

Sound
9 / 10
Some tracks are original 8-bit songs, and others are amazing remixes converted into 8-bit, which fits the graphical style very well! And the fact that the music pitch and tempo slow down while in the "alternate" dimension adds a special something to it, as well.

Replay
10 / 10
There's Star Coins. There's Switch Palaces. There's secret levels. Once you beat the final boss, there's a heck of a lot of things to do, so you shouldn't get bored!

Final Words
10 / 10
Is this an actual Nintendo game? *checks* OH, it isn't. I'm sorry, this game is so amazing and original and nearly perfect in every way it seems like it really should be. My apologies.

The only reason I wouldn't think this is a Nintendo game is because it's better then any game they could make on the NES. xD

Seems like it would be. Nintendo could always just make a 8-bit game and release it on eShop.

They could...But I don't think they make 8-bit games anymore. Besides that, this is to good and creative of a game that Nintendo probably wouldn't even think of making it. Lol.
