General Commentary and Game Overview

In the skies of Coin Heaven, Princess Peach rides a Lakitu cloud (which has no face) and collects coins in order to expand her castles appearance. The plot is made up, but is the gameplay made up too? I think not...

Impressions

Gameplay 9 / 10	In the sky, Peach flies with a cloud which has smooth friction and control. With all of the coins that are flying around the area, Peach has to collect as many as she can, within the time limit or until your health is depleted. But for trouble, Goombas fly around and try to ambush Peach on contact. But there could have been more enemies, which causes less trouble. So the game can't be too boring, power ups sometimes show up which can help Peach. Whenever it's a heart to gives you health, a star that destroys all enemies, a ? block that creates a vortex of coins, they are all helpful.
Graphics 9 / 10	Unlike most (I think) fan games that use the overused SMB3 and/or SMW graphics, we instead have SPP graphics, which are underused and I think they look better than the SNES graphics. The effects are really pleasing to the eyes, but I think the health pie in the HUD could have looked better. And I wish the background in the high scores table wasn't SMB3 and stretched. Plus, if there is a party of coins, the Goomba's can be a little hard to see.
Sound 10 / 10	The music tracks are amazing and don't feel out of place. There is even a lot of sound effects and there isn't anything that lacks one. Peach's voice is very pretty and is not annoying, which that doesn't happen too often.
Replay 7 / 10	Since it's a minigame, there isn't a lot of replay value, expect for trying to beat your high score. But with the power ups and music, you'll be coming back to it a few times before your done with it.

Final Words

When Bowser is not around, Peach flies around the sky and collects the clean-looking coins. It's even valuable for you!
