General Commentary and Game Overview
This review is of my opinion, so please take nothing personal.

This game was not so good. I thought it was going to be interesting, because you know, it's Luigi, on a ridiculous quest, with actual personality unlike his older brother who is like a stale money-grabbing robot that everyone loves.

Pros Graphics?
Game was made to not be generic.
Interesting concept

Cons Awful physics. Luigi's forward movement felt heavy.
Forced .dll downloading without warning in description. Sound not working (MFGG intro is), even though the file was downloaded and placed in the right folder.
So many others.

Impressions
Gameplay
3 / 10
Ok, other than being forced to download a .dll file at my own risk (otherwise the window would infinitely spawn and the only way to stop it was to go to task manager---not cool)

The first thing I got when I opened the game was this:
ERROR in
action number 1
of Trigger Event: <Deleted>
for object obj_strongbad_intro:

Fatal error in caster extension: Error in initialization

Did you...test your game? Luckily it worked though the only music I got from this thing was the MFGG intro.

I was like, Okay, I'll try to overlook this. I played a Mario game before with nothing but sound effects. Though NOT PREFERRED, it is tolerable. Anyway, the movement was the first thing that hit me. I was like, "what is this, I don't even" Sure, they're not the worst physics, but the heaviness ruined forward movement and jumping --especially comfortable jumping. Timing the jumping with the two goombas at the beginning actually because a chore in regards of testing out the psychics. I shouldn't have to skip over the goombas, if I want to kill the enemy, I should. It shouldn't even be a thought.
Moving on, the levels. The general level design was alright, at first started off bland, but yeah. Some had gimmicks and they were not good. I stopped at the water level because I couldn't take it anymore. I went up for air because of a late start and guess what. Received NO AIR. WTF. I tried to finish the level but eventually drowned. If he was still in the airless world which made no sense in the first place ---AH, I don't want to dwell on this anymore before I explode. Because if that was the land of nothingness, then it is a lie because there was life and water there. Plenty of stuff. World 1-3 was beatable but there was nothing telling us that landing on a Bullet Bill (at full health) is instant death. It was like, "Yep, you're starting over. Nuff said. Screw you. HAHAHAHA. Back to the beginning" No. There are more things I can bash on about this game but I'll leave it there.

Now the good things:
The concept. Sure there wasn't much to it but Luigi and another one of his adventures.
The warnings. The piranha plant one is unneeded but good. Common Mario players should have common sense enough by now to know Nintendo will pop out a man-eating plant from their pipes. The fact that you warned us that these pipes would kill you was nice. Same for world 1-3 --though those warnings were there so that the level wasn't impossible to beat.

Graphics
5 / 10
Okay. Nothing special. Average though I did like diary pages and some of the customs.

Sound
7 / 10
Sound was Alright. Nothing much that pulled me in.

Replay
2 / 10
Never in my life will I touch this again. I do not recommend this game.

Final Words
5 / 10
I can see why an enhanced version was attempted here. Unfortunately, it grasped the short end of the stick.

You're intended to download the music separately...the original non-enhanced version also intends for that.

And about the DLLs, did you even read the description?
"Update: ATTENTION, I have forgot to include the OGG DLLs in the ZIP file,
Download then here, otherwise the music won't work: [link here]"

I updated this with a change of the review but mfgg didn't update it. The score is 5/10 as well. Also I did exactly as the instructions said. I visit this site rarely and maybe there was another update afterwards. Not my fault. I Dont have to visit everyday looking for one measly update
