General Commentary and Game Overview
As the second demo for the game, this is quite fun. The existing content is good, and will keep you playing for awhile. Its a bit easier than the first in some ways, but harder in others. All of the changes made just make it seem much more like an actual Mario game. The graphics are charming yet retro, and the gameplay is... interesting. Its VERY unique and hard to explain, but it is very fun. This, despite being a demo and having flaws, is VERY much worth your time playing! And for some reason I just love the Polter character.

Pros - A very unique, fun, and polished (though maybe overpolished) dimensions changing game mechanic
- unique level design which isn't fully utilizing the game mechanics, but is fun
- Lots of aesthetic detail
- Charming graphics
- Unique power-ups
- Fun "mini-games"? Things such as Toad shops, tank levels, purple-coins, and the Polter level
- Lots of throwbacks to older Mario games, even in level design

Cons - A few sprites lose graphic continuity
- This demo added a few mechanics that make it a bit easy (that's what I meant by "overpolished" above
- A little buggy, but not unplayable by any means
- If you're not a fan of retro graphics, you might not like it. At first I mistook it for placeholder art
- Some REALLY ANNOYING music bugs. If there's one thing that will make you not want to play the game, its this. That and the fact that you don't get lives from coins (you might in the Toad shops, but those are only in World 2+)

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
Fun, addictive, makes you want to come back. You can't save at any point, which makes things a bit hard, though. And the overworld music doesn't go away on some levels.

Graphics
7 / 10
Very retro. I believe it's from... Super Mario Bros 2/USA? I could be wrong, but its about that time period (yes the 80s is its own time period). Not high quality, but fitting and if you don't mind it, its quite nice.

Sound
7 / 10
All borrowed, but matches well with the graphics. It's a bit too familiar though, I wish it was custom or more obscure though.

Replay
7 / 10
Alas, as fun as this demo is, it lacks replay value. There are 3 star coins per dimension per level, but not much point in getting them. I wish there were levels that could be unlocked with Star Coins much like NSMB DS, as that would add replay value. There is at least one secret level which is worth finding! There may be more that I haven't found though. Hence the "secret" part of them.

Final Words
7 / 10
A very promising game, I hope it will be completed someday. Its short yet fun. I recommend it to anyone looking for a creative game that breaks the formula. Seriously, this is the first game I found that actually made me want to keep playing! I do feel its lacking in some ways, though.

My review is actually outdated.

I play this game all the time. XD (And I kind of ignored the custom music)
