General Commentary and Game Overview
This game is one of those "catch and dodge" games. Unlike Dodge the Shy Guys, this is fast-paced and not very boring. And it got second place in a Minigame Competition, so it can't be that bad, right?

Riiiiiight?

Pros + Not as boring as Dodge the Shy Guys (faint praise, I know)
+ Some pretty graphics

Cons - Major glitches and oversights that should have been fixed, even though this is a demo
- A loading screen which is completely unnecessary
- No proper title screen

Gameplay
3 / 10
There are a few vegetables out there. You have to catch the white ones (and should try to catch the gold ones) while avoiding nasty purple and brown ones. Okay, this isn't so bad. A bit simple, but not bad.

Here's our first problem: vegetable direction is random. Because it is random, this isn't entirely a game of skill, as luck now plays a role--and luck doesn't play fair. This problem is exacerbated by some vegetables moving too fast--some white ones and all brown ones move extremely fast, barely giving you time to react, so chances are your game will be very short.

So now let's talk about glitches and other oversights. Let's say you visit the options menu. You can choose between English and Italian. Except you CAN'T choose, because clicking on a button does nothing. You're stuck in the options menu unless you restart the game.

Here's another one: play the game for a while and lose. Retry, and you'll find that you still have your score from your previous attempt. The only explanation I have for this is that Nacitendo skimped on playtesting.

Now let's talk about the loading screen. Click the "Start" button which I assume is a placeholder for a title screen, and you'll be informed that the game is loading. But on this screen there's the option to change controls, options, and skip the loading--and the game runs fine despite not loading, so I have to assume the loading screen didn't load anything at all!

WHY IS THERE A LOADING SCREEN THAT DOES NOTHING?! What wicked and demonic power possessed your mind to convince you that was a good idea?! What does it accomplish, other than deceiving players into wasting 10 seconds?

I'm giving this category a 3/10 as the core gameplay is somewhat redeeming, but the lack of bugfixes and THAT LOADING SCREEN prevent me from going any higher.

Graphics
6 / 10
The graphics of the game itself were not bad. There's some motion blur and particle effects, so I've got no problem with that.

What I DO have a problem with is a non-existent title screen. Yes, we all know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but first impressions MATTER, and, well, this game's first impression sucks.

So the core game is pretty alright but the first impression is bad. 6/10 is as high as I will go.

Sound
3 / 10
No music, which is almost always a bad sign. There's some sound effects, but they are not all of the highest quality. I've heard worse, I guess.

Replay
3 / 10
Since there's a table of high scores, you could play this game again if you ever wanted to beat your score. However, this is unlikely, as this game is not very good to begin with.

Final Words
4 / 10
It isn't the worst thing I've ever played, but there are many, many things I'd rather play on MFGG.
