General Commentary and Game Overview
It's a phenomenal Idea well executed! it blends all of the Castlevania tropes in the whimsical world (and powerups) of Mario and the result is a game worth playing! excellent (and sometimes frustrating, but still, well executed) level design, and good systems helps this game a lot. Of course, Mario looks funny and the history can be better, but HEY! Itīs exactly what is says on the tin! Itīs gameplay what it counts! right?

Pros +Great Level Design.
+The metroidvaina feeling and mechanics blends perfectly with Mario's power ups and moves.
+Good and configurable controls.

Cons -Need some quick access buttons.
-Some levels are infuriatingly frustrating if you are not prepared.
-Mario looks like he took a permanent weird mushroom.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
Well executed, though it can be refined a little more, I still have a pleasant time playing the game, and the controls are tight, just as I like them.

Graphics
8 / 10
Mario looks funny, but overall, itīs sprite execution is well done. But nothing particular cool for now.

Sound
8 / 10
They fit the game, except the "Pound in the ground" one, but that's my opinion. Music selection, is cool overall, but changes in quality and style might take you off guard the first time.

Replay
9 / 10
O boy, you'll keep playing until you found every secret and the game let you know from early there's more for later!!!

Final Words
9 / 10
A Diamond in the rough, this game is still awesome and have a blast playing it! not without its flaws, but hey! it's a great game that you'll like, specially if you want your metroidvania fix.

Could you elaborate on the quick access buttons? What do you mean exactly?

I dunno, switch or cycle between current weapons and magic as in, "tap L to change from fire flower to ice flower" or something.

You are the first person to request it, tbh

How many slots you think would be appropriate? I can either make that you select 2 magic/weapons and switch with one button, or make some quickslot thing, so you can assign 0-9.

That's rather easy to do, but without fancy UI. First option might be better for ppl playing with a controller.

hmm..if the first option is what you see fit, it's ok by me. Yeah!
