While I can say that it's pretty neat, the wooden texture on the SMAS version is kind of hard on the eyes, and the bright bit on the wooden 1x1 blocks on the bottom right of the blocks is also very awkwardly placed. Other than that, it's a neat idea, and I like the usage of the Grass platform interior for the filler tiles, or whatever they're called.

There weren't many palettes that weren't hard on the eyes. Some palettes don't go well, I could use the 'Grass platform inferior' colors, but they wouldn't fit the style, since SMB3 SMAS uses a brown. I used the castle palette for the SMAS Tiles.
I was trying to make a block with the SMB3 lines eg. The wooden block. There weren't many ideas, but I provided an alternate. If you don't like the one with the brighter sides, use the other one. If I had a good palette that don't do much on the eyes, I could have used it. There are none, unfortunately.

EDIT : Found a palette that isn't too hard for the eyes. It's the underwater sand palette. Update in queue now!

Well, the texture on the 16-bit tiles reminds me of the wooden texture on the "Bahay Kubo" (Nipa Hut) in the Philippines. I can say it's a pretty cool concept. What would you make next?

Actually, the texture is just a flipped fence from SMAS. The same goes for the NES Style.

You're right B0057, but I'm actually talking about the fill tiles. :)
