General Commentary and Game Overview
When Maxence2 was browsing through his old computer, he found this old game which was made seven years ago. It has "Comic Strip" in the name, because of the story cutscene, which I think it's original. But let's read the review instead of comics, shall we?

Pros +Story is represented by a comic strip
+Graphics are a bit pretty
+Original (to me, it's original) fox power-up

Cons -Some graphics clash
-The maze part is too confusing
-Music may get a little annoying
-Spams enemies in the end

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
Where do I start with? It's another typical Mario platform game, with health and a timer for power-ups. There's only two, which are the classic Fire Flower, and the Fox power-up which can allow you to do a double jump by creating a clone of yourself. Both power-ups can be combined, in which we don't see it that often.

Health system's okay, but when you get hit, you are immune for about like 0.05 seconds, which can make it easy to die if you were to be trapped against a enemy.

I think the level design was okay, but the maze part is too confusing. Because some floors are fake and it can get hard to find which paths you have to go through. Plus, in the end, there is a barrage of enemies.

Graphics
7 / 10
The graphics look nice, but some of them clash (including the first panel at the story). All of the panels in the comic strip (expect for the first one) are very nice and are well-drawn. Transition is okay and isn't that much of a problem.

Now at the in-game graphics, Mario looks so great, even enemies. Backgrounds are nice too, along with tilesets. But I think the maze tileset could have been better. Because it's hard to tell which ones are fake and not fake.

Sound
6 / 10
Music's okay, but the in-game one can be a little repetitive and might force you to turn off the sound.

Sound effects are okay, I even like that sometimes Mario will make a voice sound when he jumps.

Replay
3 / 10
If you beaten the game, you can always try to look for those speech-bubble items that you have missed. They don't do anything though, so there isn't a lot of replay value.

Final Words
5 / 10
If only you have that game released seven years ago, people would have actually loved this. But I like how did with the story.
