General Commentary and Game Overview
It's been a while since I wrote a review. Let's seen, if I still have a knack for it.

Pros -Functionally good
-A lot of interesting trivia

Cons -Largely uninspired level design

Gameplay
6 / 10
At first glance it's another Hello clone by Hello, and in terms of gameplay content that's exactly what it is (it's a collection of his games after all). Whether this is a good or bad thing depends on how burnt out Hello games you are. I haven't played a Hello game in quite a while, so I was able to sink in a good hour or so time before I got bored. Why I got bored, because the levels all feel the same. All of them have the same set of enemies with pick up grass thrown in sometime for good measure. There's an occational gimmick, "occational" being the keyword here. As a result the levels are not that interesting or memorable. Not to mention the fact, that they are from multiple games only emphasizes how little variety and innovation (or even iteration) is between all of Hello's games. it's a shame because the game is functionally good, with a ton of features, smooth controls and very few glitches if any. You can talk to toads that'll either tell you the obvious or give you trivia. Mario answers/reacts to them with his traditional phrases like "mamma mia" or "okie dokie".

The games most prominent feature is the amount of trivia thrown in. I don't know about you, but I find stuff like this interesting to the point of spending more time reading trivia that playing the levels (whether that's a compliment to the trivia or scorn to the gameplay, I leave to your imagination). Some of it is downright satirical. Mario's reaction the fact about Hello making the switch to my engine made me lose it. I don't even know whether this was intentional or not, because Mario's reactions are sometimes questionable/awkward. Unfortunately the particular joke is repeated time and time again.

How are people finding this dialogue egotistical? You're too serious.

Graphics
5 / 10
Graphics are a mixed bag. On one hand you have a plethora of level decorations, a neat underwater effect and plentiful (but not oversaturated amount) of particle effects. While you also have overly pronounced lighting effects, that at best look ugly and cause you physical pain in the eyes at worst.

Sound
4 / 10
Sounds are everything you're used to seeing in an engine clone. The music in other hand is devisive remixes of familiar Mario tunes. If you like that, good for you and ignore this score. I'm personally into more atmospheric/fitting music.

Replay
7 / 10
There are hidden discs all around the levels that unlock more trivia about Hello's games. Whether it's worth your time is up to you.

Final Words
6 / 10
It's a collection of Hello's games. Nothing more, nothing less.

The more Hello games you play, the more glaring the level design flaws become - like the frequent jumps under low ceilings, as seen in Bowser's Keep and numerous other levels.

The trivia about the development process of Hello's older games was my favorite part of the game. I like it when MFGGers share this sort of thing.
