General Commentary and Game Overview
This is a great game which gives a really great Halloween experience. It's kind of short, and it took me awhile to figure out that you have to use the mouse at one point, but at the end of the game, you get a really good idea of what the mansion looks like, inside and out.

In almost every room, there are objects that you investigate, which really helps give you an idea of the "world". The game ended kind of abruptly, leaving quite a lot of plot holes. But aside from that, it's a great game!

Pros - Creepy feel
- Nice world exploration
- 2D Worlx graphics
- Polished Gameplay

Cons - Ends abruptly, and left me a bit underwhelmed
- Kind of short
- No animation for walking into doors

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
The gameplay feels really smooth, and the text system is quite nice! Though, there is no way to speed up the text, which is a little annoying.

A good bit of the game is spent running around, searching for items to get you into the next room. There are also two sections where you must use the objects you've investigated to choose the best place to hide from a phantom (which looks like a very stereotypical creepy pasta character).

Overall, I really liked the gameplay, especially it's smoothness.

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics use Neweegee's 2D Worlx sprites, which seem like they're going to be the next Black Squirrel's tilesets. Their overuse is forgivable, though, as they are reallllly good sprites!

The tilesets are also very nice and fitting for a Halloween game.

Sound
7 / 10
The music and sound effects are all reused, but they fit very well. There's not much to say about it.

Replay
5 / 10
The game is extremely linear. I doubt I'd play it again, but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying it the first time!

Final Words
8 / 10
This fangame is a very enjoyable Halloween experience! I wish the game had a more "solid" conclusion, as I still don't really know what's going on (at least, not completely). Be sure to complete it at least once!
