General Commentary and Game Overview
The game feels like Yoshi's Island minus the Yoshi controls and collectables that made it a masterpiece. Does Luigi fill in the gap that was made?

Pros -Looks and sounds like a Yoshi's Island game
-Controls are responsive

Cons -A few bugs
-Little gameplay variation
-Controls don't quite feel like Mario.

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The engine has a few bugs (like phasing through blocks when collecting coins) and the controls feel a bit stiff, but they weren't frustrating to use. I wish there was more gameplay variation, however. Being able to manipulate the environment like pushing the flowerpot in the first castle really adds to what made Yoshi's Island so great. The movement engine doesn't quite feel like a Mario engine but it does still get the job done.

Graphics
7 / 10
The animations and placement of the Yoshi's Island tileset are nearly spot on. Nothing looks strange and everything about the level design makes sense. On my computer, there were some framerate issues, which may just be due to the programming language used to make this game.

Sound
8 / 10

Replay
5 / 10
There are some diverging paths in the levels, but there aren't any collectables like in Yoshi's Island and there aren't any power-ups to play around with.

Final Words
6 / 10
The atmosphere of the game feels like Yoshi's Island sans the parallax background. The controls, while a bit stiff, are responsive. I had fun whilst playing it but wish there were more reasons to play the demo again.

P.S. 6/10 isn't a bad score!
