General Commentary and Game Overview
Mario Polo is a "sport" fangame. I say sports in quotations because this is absurdly simplistic and there isn't much strategy to it at all.

With that in mind, this will be a rather short review. Can't say much about nothing, after all.

Pros Fairly well made for its time
Engine works fine
Graphics are serviceable, nothing special but nothing awful

Cons Bland
Boring
Even with a second player, the above two points ring true

Impressions
Gameplay
3 / 10
You play as Mario and Luigi on the backs of Yoshis sticking their tongues out to see who can get a turtle shell into a bucket the fastest. It's not incredibly exciting and is actually quite boring, in fact.

The engine works well enough, although both of you hitting the shell at the same time usually doesn't work too well (it'll usually give the hit randomly, without any indication as to who hit the shell first).

Dull.

Graphics
5 / 10
Not bad, not bad. Even the abundance of default Klik & Play backgrounds isn't too bad as it all fits well enough - at least for its time. It's nothing special though, and the creator chose to use Luigi's sprite from OG Super Mario World rather than the All-Star slender version for some inane reason.

Sound
3 / 10
Two songs. A few sound effects. It really isn't anything mind blowing.

Replay
2 / 10
Even playing this with someone else didn't really make it any funner. I suppose it's up to your imagination and competitiveness to really drive the entertainment value here, but personally I'm probably never gonna touch this one again.

Final Words
2 / 10
You hit a turtle shell back and fourth to see who can put it in a bucket on the opposite end the most times. Wow, how riveting!
