General Commentary and Game Overview
Man, it's been over thirty years since the Super Mario series has started, hasn't it? Starting with the game that saved video games from a video game crash, Mario has been evolving (and sometimes he'll temporarily devolve!), as he gains new abilities and even face new enemies. Just imagine the Mario we have nowadays was always like this...

Wait, looks that could happen now! Because it looks like Mors has made a time machine, and he has invited Mario to come with him into his time traveling adventure.

Well, what are your waiting for? There is room for some more people in the time machine, so let's hop into it, and be prepared for any flashbacks Mario might get!

Oh, and I'll be reviewing this adventure. So, while we are traveling through time, let's review, shall we?

Pros +Amazing physics.
+Great graphics.
+Good shader effects.
+Excellent remixes.
+Nice sound choices.
+Good level design.

Cons -Wall jumping seems a bit forced.
-The invincibility effect could be a bit too much for the eyes.

Entering the time machine, there seems to be three pipes, all of which will take you to the time of Super Mario Bros. I have already noticed a problem in this adventure, and can you guess what it is? It's the fact that the pipes will always take you to the time Super Mario Bros, while they are supposed to take you to the time where you have last left off. Though, it's just a minor problem, as this adventure isn't that long. Really, Mors said we'll be going through four different time periods, and we (well, we shouldn't, that is) won't be spending like ten hours in these time periods.

Anyway, let's hop into these pipes, and start our time traveling adventure! After showing up in the time of Super Mario Bros, one thing I would like to note is that the physics here are just amazing. Really, just really, they are probably one of the best types of physics I have felt in my whole life!

Oh, I guess I should explain how this adventure works, right? Okay, so, we have find these four power stars, which can be found in four different periods of time. While we try to collect these, you'll want to avoid the hazards around here. Heck, if you have taken enough damage from these hazards, then, well, I think it should be obvious what the result of taking enough damage will be like!

Huh, what is that green sparkling thing I see over there? Upon inspecting it, it seems to be a green star! Now what could this thing be doing here?

Though, I think we should keep on going, maybe we'll two more of these! Ouch! It looks that one Piranha Plant over there had bit me! I hope there is something around here that could fix my booboo. Oh wait, looks there is! There is a mushroom in this ? Block! Ahhhh, eating that mushroom had managed to take out the damage I had taken from that Piranha Plant. Moving on, it seems that we'll have to do some wall jumping here. Now, while I find the wall jumping nice, it seems to be a little bit forced. Though, at least we don't have to do it right above a bottomless pit!

Wow, we haven't found a single power star yet, and I can't help it but notice how good the design of this area is! Really, it feels something that Nintendo would make! Getting through the hazards (and discovering a Fire Flower), it looks we'll have to do more wall jumping, and this time we'll be doing it above a bottomless pit! I feel we should be doing it above the ground, but hey, at least there is a checkpoint right here, and we have infinite lives.

Well, it looks like we have found our power star, and the level design is still (mostly) good! Anyway, how about we revisit this place, but this time in a different time period? Okay, let's do that!

Entering a different time period, the weather seems so, well, rather rainy.

KRACKOOM!

Uh oh, it looks we are in the middle of a thunder storm! I think we should run, and find some shelter! Don't even think about collecting the green stars around here, because it seems that someone has already collected them. Look, a pipe! Let's try to enter that!

Upon entering the pipe, we are now in an underground area. Hm, as we can wall jump, maybe there is a warp zone around here.

As I have checked to see if there is a warp zone around here, I have found...found.....found......

Well, it looks like not only there is a warp zone around here, but there is also a power star in here! Woohoo! Two found, two more to find!

Upon revisiting this place again, the weather seems a bit foggy. Hey, is that a Lakitu over there? Hm, maybe he knows the third power is at right now!

As I had gotten near the Lakitu, he had said that he has a power star! Alright, looks we have found it! That was so qui-

Wait, did he say that we can only get the power star if we beat him to the flag pole? Well, it looks Mario has accepted the deal, so I guess we should take the challenge too.

As we race against Lakitu, I noticed that there are hazards around here, some of which, can be a bit annoying, especially the Piranha Plants. Also, in order to get the finish, we have to do some wall jumping, all of which is above a bottomless pit (well, you'll be doing a tiny bit of wall jumping above a platform, but that platform will fall down shortly after you land on it, so...).

Anyway, it looks like we have beaten Lakitu to the finish, and therefore we have gotten the third power star!

Well, now what? We have gotten three power stars, and there is one more. But, we are still in the white area, while we should in some area that Mario has been in before. Around four hours later, we are still in the white area. I wonder "why" we are still here. Wait a minute, everything seems to be vanishing. What's goi-

Whoa, just whoa, it seems that we are now in the time of Super Mario World!

Well, what are you waiting for? Let's see if we can find a power star around here! While we are looking for the fourth power star, I wanted to note that there is a pipe in the underground area, which is in underwater. Now why did I note this? Well, it looks like you can enter it, but, it seems that it is clogged with some objects that are so big, that we cannot enter the pipe. Oh well, at least we are able to get out of the water area.

Anyway, it looks that we have just found all of the power stars, so I guess it's time to go back to the present, eh? But wait, Mors had promised us that we'll be doing more time traveling with his time machine!

Though, I guess I should talk about what we have seen, what we have heard, and how we feel about coming back to do more time traveling, shall we? Though, before I do it, I wanted to note a few things first.

First of all, remember the time we have found the second power star in a warp zone? Well, I wanted to note that the power star in that time could be quite hard to find if one were to be unfamiliar with the warp zones.

Next, you might have knew about this before, but I feel like the wall jumping is a bit forced over here. Really, there was a couple spots where you have to do some wall jumping, and it could be quite hard to get through it.

Finally, there is a like a lot of collision glitches. Really, I swear I have went through a pipe in one time. Also, I have managed to fall through the floor when I was using the star man. I guess there is a hole in the floor, eh?

Anyway, let's review what we have seen in our eyes, shall we?

Graphics
9 / 10
Man, those graphics man. They are....are....are.....so, amazing! The graphics are in Big Five-Oh style, which is underused in fangames. The animations are nice and fluid, and I can't really find any problems with them. The backgrounds are okay, but I feel like they clashed with the rest of the graphics a very little bit.

Oh, I almost forget about the shader effects. Those are really nice and impressive. Though, I feel like the effect that is only present when you are using a star man can a bit too much for the eyes of some people. Heck, I think one of the people that was involved in the time traveling adventure had said that the effect had managed to damage his eyes.

Oh, and more thing. I think the colors in the area where we pick a pipe are a bit too bright.

Sound
10 / 10
Well, as this is a time traveling adventure, the music we hear are taken from various Mario games. But wait! These pieces of music were remixed by the amazing Can of Nothing, and they sound very good (trust me, you'll want to hear the remixes that can be heard in the Super Mario World level. They can be quite catchy, and they are all memorable! Man, that one can sure knows how to make such amazing music!

The sounds are taken from various Mario games, and none of them seem to be overused! The number of sounds is quite big, and they all seem to fit, and it's really hard to find any missing sounds!

Well, I can't really find any problems with what I have heard, so I'll give it a perfect of ten out of ten!

The first and fourth level contains three green stars, most of which can be seen if you just try to get to the power star. Though, some of them can take a small bit of time to figure out how to get them (well, to me, that is). While one of the signs I have read had said that once you collect all three green stars, you'll unlock music for the current level we are in, you'll actually unlock nothing. Oh, and when you collect a power star, you'll get a rank which is based on your score. Though, there is no reward for getting a certain rank, heck, nothing seems to be showing up if you get an A rank if all four levels.

So, the value for coming back into the time machine isn't quite much, as there no rewards for getting the goodies, but, I have found myself going through time just to listen to the amazing music.

Final Words

Are you in the mood to go through time and see what if Mario's adventures are always like what he has nowadays? Well, then go ahead and download this game!

It wasn't even used in the first place.

Considering both pieces of music in the Super Mario World stage were placeholders, I'm not entirely sure how grateful I should be for the complement.

I'm kidding. Glad to see you enjoyed the game.
