General Commentary and Game Overview
Beep. Bop.

Hey! Long time no see! I haven't been to the main site in quite a while.(missed me) Nevertheless, I'm back to review quite the game. This game....is Mario Helmet Deluxe. It's the sequel, because there was a first one apparently?

Anyway, the gameplay is simple, and it's quite authentic in terms of recreation to the original Game&Watch games. I've never owned one of those things, but from googling the originals, it seems surprisingly identical.

What's it about then, huh? Run across falling tools. Try to get to the other side to score points. That's it.

The downside to this is, however, is that there's not really a purpose to this game. Many a dozen have already accomplished this same task, so I don't see a reason for this game. Further more, it really doesn't add anything, either, unfortunately.

I think the best part of this game is the authentication and nothing more. The graphics look like G&W, but nothing more. The gameplay is exactly like the G&W games, but it adds absolutely nothing more at all. And that's the problem I have with the existence of it.

Releasing a really old game in 2015 won't have the same effect it had when it was released originally. In that time, it was never seen before, but you can't really get away with that nowadays unless it's a remaster, and in this specific case, it isn't.

Pros + Authentication is the name of the game, and it does it perfectly.

Cons - Adds no new game modes, no new graphics and doesn't really warrant its existence due to the fact that, frankly, it's already been done better hundred times before.

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
Like I said in the Commentary and Overview, the game is basically (and the game is very basic) running to each door while avoiding falling equipment. That's it. Nothing new or innovative, unfortunately, and that's really a shame.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics is possibly the highest scoring part of this game, and it's just G&W graphics. It looks crisp, simple, and to the point and even perfectly emulates each frame due to technical limitations of the Game And Watch. Unfortunately the graphics probably could have been improved, like using new Mario graphics, but with the same core gameplay

Sound
3 / 10
The sound is unfortunately the second lowest scoring section of this, and it's just beeps. That's pretty much it.

Replay
1 / 10
The worst part of this game.

It really gets boring after the first few seconds, and there's not anything else to do after those few seconds.

Final Words
4 / 10
So there you go! My in-depth analyzation of a simple mini game from a few decades ago! It's very authentic, but it suffers from no originality, unfortunately.
