General Commentary and Game Overview
The style in this game is very special for a Mario fan fame. While it's based on the well known features of Nintendo's Mario, everything seems custom made, and ends up somewhere between Super Mario World, Paper Mario and SM64

Playing through the game takes around 3½ hours, with 11 stages throughout 3 worlds.

Pros + Animated cut scenes, some fun, all fine.
+ All custom sprites
+ Big bosses, custom made
+ Cool ending clip

Cons - Jump button misses, at some moments.
- Occasional bugs (but, whatever :)

Gameplay
9 / 10
While controlling, Mario feels light and somewhat slow, it can take two meters to slow down after running, and he jumps slowly letting the player take time to control where landing. There's the spin jump like in SMW, to break blocks from above. Mario can pickup and throw balls or enemies in 5 different directions, to break blocks also. Overall these features work well.

Many enemies have custom attacks, like the Hammer Bro. flying above Peach's Castle, the Ninji that throws ninja knives, and a big marionette boss.

The bosses are great, and well animated, look forward to an awesome Lakitu in Air Ship Armada

Graphics
9 / 10
The whole game has an adorable Paper Mario look, for example the sky built of bricks outside Peach's Castle. Most of the graphics seem custom made and the fan devotion behind is shining through. From one happy maker, making fan gamers happy.

But let's start with the splash screen, it's honestly ugly with its MS Paintbucket bits, but at the same time wonderful with its high-res-custom Paper Mario sprites. The whole game is better than that, though!

Let's take a look on different styles:
+ World map like Super Mario World
+ Skyhigh Way inspired by Yoshi's Island.
+ Ruins Cave inspired by SMB3 in All-Stars.

There are occasional drawbacks, like the confusing scrolling background in Hi Hi Mountain, or the buggy group of Goomba in Sandy Sands lol. They make the game funnier, though! Except when Windows 7 crashed in Ruins Cave. But that was all.

Sound
10 / 10
Official sounds of Nintendo quality.

Replay
5 / 10
The game doesn't feature any extra things for replay, and the save file is never used to return to cleared stages. There are many small stars to collect, instead of coins, though I didn't understand what they were for.

Final Words
9 / 10
The perfect kind of fan game, with its own special style, yet good sense of Mario.
