SMB2 Expanded Tilesets By: Valtteri [W]
This sheet contains slopes and other extra pieces for the grass, underground, castle snow and pretty much every other tileset found in SMB2 for the SNES. I also created full scale tilesets for the go-through-except-on-top hills seen throughout the game. I hope you find use for these! Original tiles ripped by Sonikku and slopes for the underground and snow/ice tiles (excluding the ones based on the white hill) by Sednaiur.

What about the clouds?

If I'm ever going to do those, they'll go on a separate sheet. The clouds are animated and thus every tile would have four frames.

Which are actually 8.

No, it's just 4.

In-game it's 8, it's just 4 unique ones. But there's 8.

Technically, there are 8 frames for the animated clouds. You need to rip further to see all 8 frames of the clouds. If you are using SMBX tiles, the clouds have 4 unique frames, but in SMB2, there is 8. So that means, mariofan144's theory is probably correct.

I checked this and I was kind of surprised by the result of my examination. The first four frames are unique for all three pieces. Frames 5-8 are identical to frames 1-4, except for the middle piece, which has a unique fifth frame. So when the edge tiles go like 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4, the middle piece goes like 1-2-3-4-5-2-3-4. It's really strange. So if I do make a full tileset out of the cloud tiles, I may or may not include this random fifth frame for the middle pieces. It goes a bit over the top in my opinion...

Is there any possible way you would consider doing an 8 bit version?
