General Commentary and Game Overview
Say what you will about the hello engine, but this is a very clean, very organized, and decently well equipped level editor and level player. It doesn't have as many features of other editors suck as the SMBX level editor, but Mario Editor is good and solid in it's own right.

Pros -Well Categorized
Everything is in neat categories and are easy to find.

-Very Clean
The game and graphics are well polished. The physics feel about right, and the enemies react as I would expect them to.

-Uses the Hello Engine
Again, say what you will, but the hello engine is comprehensive and holds a vast array of power-ups.

Cons -Uses the Hello Engine
It is a good engine, but it is overused. This doesn't detract much from me, but is something that bothers people.

-Lack of customizability
The older level and world editors produced by hello had better customizability, with selective collision and custom music.

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
The physics are good and the enemies behave as I expect them to. There are plentiful power-ups and items. There are a few things here and there that are gripes to me, but all in all, this category earns a solid 8/10.

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics blend nicely. Not too much wrong with this category. 9/10

Sound
9 / 10
The music, Mario voice-clips, and sound effects sound like a Mario game. In spite of the lack of music customizability, the music selection is broad and should cover most needs.

Replay
9 / 10
It's a level editor. One can be up for hours playing their own levels over and over to tweak them. There is also the challenge mode which is quite enjoyable.

Final Words
8 / 10
I'm not the biggest hello fan, I agree that the engine is overused, and that it isn't as free as former level editors or SMBX, but all in all, the performance is solid, the engine, music, and graphics are smooth, and the brand of engine shouldn't be too big of a detraction from what is an great level editor.
