General Commentary and Game Overview
When I first saw the score of this game, I thought it would be pretty bad. But playing the game, I had more of a mixed reaction. The game itself is pretty good, but is ruined by ONE flaw. The flaw that makes it hard for the wrong reason. Many areas are too small to jump in. Obviously, this isn't the only flaw, but I'll go over it in the review.

Pros - Great use of lighting

- Awesome music

- Big map

- Lots of levels (at least by the look of it)

- Smooth controls

- Neat concept/story

Cons - Many areas are too small to jump in.

- When wall jumping, you can only jump from the side you're facing. This is needed in some areas, such as the pipes after the second checkpoint in the first level.

- All out, Level 1 is too hard for a Level 1.

- A piranha plant in almost EVERY pipe.

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The gameplay itself feels smooth, and easy to control, but is damaged by wall jumping, and most of all, the small areas.

Graphics
9 / 10
I really don't see any flaws with the graphics. Also, I like the lighting effects of the lamps in levels.

Sound
7 / 10
While the music is alright, I think some of the tracks just don't feel like they should be in levels they are at.

Replay
5 / 10
Sadly, I don't see too much replay value. I would higher the score if it were for better gameplay.

Final Words
7 / 10
Many hard games have a flaw that makes them hard, and for a bad reason. Battletoads, with barley a chance of escaping being beaten up back and front, The Wizard of Oz, (SNES,) with the platforms not letting you hop on the ends, but for Super Mario Dynamo, the winning flaw is the cramped areas. I thought I'd never pass level one with the pipe area. But otherwise, I'd have to recommend it to you if you're a hardcore gamer, and a hardcore Mario fan.
