General Commentary and Game Overview
If trying to decide on which of 'Thunder Dragon's titles to play first, or desire to play a good basic design, or if difficulty is an issue; this game is a good choice as it covers all these needs very well since it is the first installment of it's kind.

This game shines with level themes and clean funny humor from townies found across the land as 'Toad' optionally collects coins to unlock fun side levels or find switches to advance quickly to the 'Koopa Castle'.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
Very accessible in difficulty due to simplicity gives this game an edge for challenged players and also helps to avoid confusion during exploration due to easy navigation and obstacle placement.

Graphics
8 / 10
Taken from various games and occasionally leads to some clashes in style nevertheless good choices made on overall themes, color palettes, and customs help to bridge the gap.

Sound
8 / 10
Tracks, sounds, and remixes from various 'Mario' games gives a nice variety and basic appeal to the themes and fit very well for this game. Sometimes tracks can be simple yet they work well.

Replay
9 / 10
Ultimate 'pick-up, play, and put-away' with high-quality leads to a very evenly balanced game that has good pacing as areas are a good size. Finding star-coins isn't too hard and most foes and bosses can be stomped or hammered.

Final Words
9 / 10
For those who want a more straight-forward approach than 'Toadette Strikes' and easier learning curve than 'Psycho Waluigi'.
