General Commentary and Game Overview
After Bowser was defeated by Mario for the second time, LangtonLion64 decided to make an unofficial sequel to the game, and also a prequel to Super Mario World. You might think it's a generic Mario platform game since it's supposed to be the number four, but is it really so?

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
It's another Mario platform game, but this one has a unique gimmick this time. I called it unique gimmick, because you can switch between two different dimensions, which has a different level layout. However, it is possible to die from dimension switching, as there can hazards in the other dimension that you might not expect.

For replay value, if you beat a level, you'll probably get a coin and time medal, which depends in how many coins and how much time you have taken.

Graphics
9 / 10
Aah, it's so refreshing to see those 8-bit graphics again. Sure, there is some of those overused SMB3 graphics, but there is a lot of custom/edited graphics. Both dimensions look so nice and are really imaginative. However, some graphics looked like place holders, but that isn't really of a problem.

Sound
10 / 10
The music's great and sounds really 8-bit-y. They fit very well and never hurts the ears.

Sound effects were nice and fitting, but I think there should be a sound for dimension switching.

Replay
10 / 10
With all of Star Coins which can give you cards and the medals, there is tons to do here! It'll take you a long time to 100% this game, so good luck!

Final Words
9 / 10
Play this, I don't care if you don't like 8-bit or not, just try this out.
