General Commentary and Game Overview
A neat concept and a fun game, but with some very noticeable flaws.

Pros Fun to play
Choice of sprites is decent
Music is good, though not original

Cons Engine isn't very polished
Could've been thought out a little better

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The engine works, and it's actually fun to play. But it's slippery and not as tight as it should be. Instead of jumping, I would find myself sliding off of that two-block red platform in level two. Jumping is slower than it should be, but that's not a big issue.

Level design was actually pretty good. It wasn't always as obvious as it needed to be, though.

Having coins as well as Toads to collect is a good idea. It felt like a sidequest, though I suspect that there isn't much of a reward for collecting all of the coins.

Controls were good, except that I wish Mario didn't jump with the Up button. This is more of a preference thing though.

Graphics
5 / 10
The graphics were okay in some parts, not so much in others.

They didn't appear to clash very much (aside from the colors of the coins maybe). They were all ripped though, and some were recolored, so nothing too original here.

The background images were stretched very badly. This is not good.

Sound
5 / 10
The music was decent (some songs fitting nicely, some being a little out of place). It appears to all be ripped music, so nothing too original here either.

The sound effects were decent but not great.

Replay
6 / 10
Would I play this game again? It's possible, but not very likely. I did have fun with it, but there are better games to play.

Final Words
5 / 10
Overall, I give this game a 5. It's not that bad, but it's also not particularly great.
