General Commentary and Game Overview
After Goombot defeated Mario, Luigi, and Wario (yes, I played the first one), the Mushroom Kingdom has been ruled by Bowser. But a Bowser robot (which is named as Bowserbot) tries to restore peace to the kingdom, and all minions think Bowserbot is the real one (I'm assuming that they are color blind).

Goombot has to defeat Bowserbot's creator (wait, what about Bowserbot?!), who I'm assuming his name is "Dr. Djemi" (no offense, WreckingGoomba).

I used to really love this game when I got it a couple years ago, but what about my current me? Do I love this game more, or do I hate it more, or it's just the same feeling? Let's review, shall we?

Pros +Creative story (I never heard of a story like this one)
+Stars a underused character (this time, in robot form)
+Almost bugless

Cons -Robots are just recolors (they could edited to look more robotic)
-HUD could use some more work
-Overused graphics
-Bosses are un-balanced

Gameplay
6 / 10
You control a Goomba in robot form (which makes sense, because we ARE controlling him), which can run and jump. Goombot runs very fast, which kinda makes the game more fun. Goombot can take damage from enemies, and he'll get knocked out if he loses all of his health (or should I say that he gets shut down if he loses all of his battery power). There is bricks and ? blocks in this game, which works fine expect that Goombot sometimes refuses to break them, probably because Goombot's top isn't strong all of the time. Coins (which come out from most ? Blocks) are nearly useless. Sure, they give you full health if you collect 100, but who needs them if you have Mushrooms and Golden Mushrooms? Oh, robots can't eat, so it's weird to see Goombot to be able to eat mushrooms.

Like in SMB2, each level ends with a boss. Each boss are all the same, expect for different arenas and sprites. The first set of bosses are clones of Goombot, which can be a little hard to hit. But in the last level of a world, there is a unique boss in it. They are all Koopa Kids (in robot form), but they have their own unique attacks (expect that they all share the "fire breath" attack). However, these bosses are un-balanced (the second boss is harder than the third one), and they do their attacks at random. You could just do a pattern, because there is a chance that it can take you a long time to defeat them, thanks to doing their attacks at random.

The game is almost bug-less, which gives out a plus.

Graphics
3 / 10
Oh no, not those overused SMB3 graphics and Black Squirrel tilesets. Some of them are custom, but I can see a lot of overused graphics here. The robots are just recolors, which makes Goombot look like a regular Goomba that is painted.

I noticed a background, which looks badly resized. The same thing also goes to the giant Chomp. At least Goombot is a robot, or his eyes would be melting then.

The HUD is okay, but it could use some work. Also, the coin in the HUD looks a little jpeg-y to me. The blue rectangles kinda look bland to me.

Sound
5 / 10
The music is okay, and some of them are underused. But a couple tracks just don't fit. Look at the music track of some grass levels, the music is from Waluigi Pinball. The place doesn't look anything like a machine, or perhaps it's a pinball machine that is disguised as a grass land?

Sounds are okay, but some of them appear to be overused SMAS sound effects. Sounds aren't that special to me, so I won't talk a lot about sounds.

Replay
2 / 10
After beating the demo, I have no need to play it again. There is no alternate paths, secret levels, and bonus content. But it could be used to spend a little time, and I guess you can play it again a few times.

Final Words
5 / 10
I may have loved this game years ago, but looking at by today's standards, I have the "meh" feeling.
