First batch is some of the blocks, a not yet completely done underground tileset and a completed grassland tileset! Enjoy! (Sorry if it's not very good, I am 11 after all. Please provide feedback if you think so though :P)

Looks pretty good. Reminds me a tad of New Super Mario Bros, just with a much, much brighter palette.

Thanks everybody! Gonna work on the next batch now, I'm thinking of finishing the underground tileset and adding a few things like more blocks and coins, alongside a new tileset.

It looks really good! I love how the colors and shading look. The only negative thing I could think about is that the amount of blank space seems a bit more than it could be. Try moving the grass and cave tilesets to the above of the blocks, and maybe that will let you cut down some blank space. The reason why there should be as less blank space as possible is, I think, because it makes the file larger than it needs to be, which could affect the amount of time needed to download it.

I agree with Q-Nova. When more than 50% of the blank space could be removed with no detriment to the organization of the tiles, that means there's a pretty bad sprite sheet.

Wow, for an 11-year old you are amazing. I'm only 8 years older than you, and I can't even draw anything beyond simple shaded objects. Regardless, keep up the good work.

EDIT:
There's some empty space that should be removed, otherwise it's not bad.

...Wow. I'm shocked. I'll admit I'm young too, older than you, but I could never create something so beautiful. I'm not even kidding, this is probably one of the best sprite sheets I've ever seen on MFGG. The colors are just stinking amazing in my opinion.
This greatly encourages me to add more shading and put more work into my sheets.
I'm very disappointed with myself for being such a bad spriter, and, really, I can just thank you for making such a beautiful sheet.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to create these?

Thanks dude!
A few tips would be:
Use hue shifting, seriously. It helps a lot, and really adds a nice spark to your sprites.

Secondly, try to add as much texture as you can. Don't leave things solid and boring!

Lastly, I usually try to make my outlines unique. I don't treat them as rules - I try to treat them as something that will add to the sheet for the better if I do them right.

I make a darker shade of what it's outlining, and where there's a light source, the outlines get affected by the light too! That's just my style though, it's not for everybody - but I suggest experimenting with outlines, they can add charm.

So yeah, try to have a nice palette that involves hue shifting and warm/cold colors depending on what the sprite is, and try to vary the outlines.

About what I use: Paint.NET.

And I am smaller than both, whats the problem? But, for a 11 year old, YOU'RE VERY VERY talented. Good job!
