General Commentary and Game Overview
So, I was requested to do a review of this game, so... that's what I'm doing.

After playing it, I can say Wrath of the Goombas is... not bad, but not so good you absolutely have to play it. There's good things here and there, but I wouldn't call this the best. It's kind of above the middle, really.

Pros -Good music and sounds
-Good graphic effects

Cons -Delayed, weird controls
-Graphics are sorta clashy

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
So, to move Mario, you gotta move the mouse. I didn't realize quick, moving the arrow keys frantically not knowing what to do, til I realized I had to move the mouse. It seemed simple enough, but sadly, controlling was hard, because for some reason, there's a slight delay between moving the mouse and moving Mario, so it was pretty painful to move him until I got used to it.

To make Mario shoot fireballs, you click the left side mouse button to do so. But there's a slight delay between shooting fireballs, but it seems intentional as getting a fire flower from a goomba decreases that delay. Either way, hitting enemies is a pretty dang hard thing to do.

Another thing is that there's no pause button, which isn't very a good idea to exclude from the game.

Despite those issues, I still managed to keep going for a while longer.

Graphics
7 / 10
The graphics for this game are nice for the most part. In some cases, however, Mario kinda clashes with the rest of the graphics, and so does the font of the text used for scorekeeping. Other than that, the graphics for the level you play in are nice. There's also a lightning effect, so yea, the graphics nail it.

But the title screen... not so much.

The menus when starting the game and entering your high score aren't very attractive. They could have added a bit more to it, but the game DOES have a small screen.

But other than that, the graphics are pretty much beautiful.

Sound
7 / 10
The music here is quite decent. To me, it's the perfect music for wrecking some goombas. I also like how the music gets intense as you progress through, showing it gets harder. The sounds are great as well, but it could have done better. The sound when shooting a fireball doesn't sound very... great. There's only a total of 4-5 sounds in the game, so yea.

Replay
4 / 10
After a while of playing this, the game kinda starts to get boring. And repetitive. There's high scores, but other than that it's pretty much something that you lose interest in after a while.

Final Words
6 / 10
This was a fairly good game. There's some areas that need improvement, but still, it's pretty good.
