It's kinda weird how the original sprite actually kinda looked like Mario in the first place, but this is a really cool edit! Can't wait for more from you!

That probably because the game was supposed to be a rip-off of Mario in the first place.
Even the Atari game seems kinda similar to Donkey Kong. At least that's what I think.

I personally fail to see how a game about exploring caves and shooting frogs was supposed to be a Mario rip-off, but I mean it DOES have characters that God-forbid JUMP.

Oh, and by the way, some of the sprites break the 3-color rule.

the death sprite does not break the rule, albeit in placed in front of a black background. the mouth is intended to be transparent

The shoot sprite, however, does, as the gun still has the same palette as the original Harry sprite.
