They're SPCs too, so they aren't too big anyway. It might contain a '.DS_STORE' file. Delete it if you want, it's a Mac thing.

NO. Its a resource fork used by mac os x... the DS store is details for the files and data. Like thumbs.db on windows storing thumnails.

NO. DS_Store Its a resource fork used by mac os x... the DS store is details for the files and data. Like thumbs.db on windows storing thumnails.
The ds just happens to use same letters.

How exactly did you get the sound effects out of the game as SPCs? Also, would it be possible to get the sounds from other games the same way?

Yes! In fact, SPCs can be recorded from almost any SNES game. The only exception I can think of is Wario's Woods.
Most emulators have a 'record SPC' key mapped in them.
