Given the large number of poses, I'm tempted to reboot my "curse of the werekoopa" game with these sprites.

It's very rare that a fangame completely delivers in the areas of playability, practicality and overall enjoyment. Super Mario POW does all of this.

Pretty sweet stuff. Somewhat ought to do an official artwork Mario too.

Yeah they are, I thought his pose and the expression on his face were well done.

Well, thank you very much. I'm flattered. :D

Hey. I started using the Wario bros sprites in a game i'm making and i noticed something. The waluigi sprites wouldn't happen to be based off of my first waluigi sheet would they?

If I wanted to play Super Mario Bros 3, i would just go and play it for NES thank you for regurgitating a game rather than making your own!!

lol. srsly though. That was awesome.

It's great! You think you could make rolling and spindash sprites for Mario?

I thought about it. But when i was making these, i didn't think Mario would use a rolling attack. So I had him crouch in a runner's stance, instead of charging up a spin dash.

honestly... I love the ultramario engine. It has good physics and feels pretty professional. But for this particular project... it just felt like you used it too generically. The game just didn't feel very much like a Waluigi game as much as it did like a mario knockoff game. For Waluigi to have his own game, he needs some original moves and strategies. Similar to how Wario gets the shoulder slam and the ability to throw enemies.

Nice, they've got a bit of a charm to them. I could see these in a minigame in the future.

Only problem i really see is that Luigi's green and blue are a little too close and they start to run together, try making the green a little lighter so it can be told apart. Otherwise, really nice revamp.

Cool rendition of Waluigi, i see what you're going for with the wario land style gameplay idea, and i like the idea of a life meter for this character. However, i think Waluigi would require his own style of gameplay, seperate from wario since wario has evolved into his own, and Waluigi has yet to develop.

I like this a hella lot. At some point you should add underground and castle tiles, along with a cape feather or leaf

I like this idea a lot. I think Yoshi has a lot of potential as a stand alone character. It'd be cool if Nintendo actually made a "Super Yoshi" game. Y'know, one without babies riding around on his back.

that's... my waluigi sprite? Wow, thanks so much for using it. I didn't think anyone would.

No need for apoligies mate.

Anyway thanks Yoshling 97 for telling me that.
I think I will get started on Wario and Waluigi!

Sweet!

I've yet to see Wario or Waluigi in NSMB. I don't mean playable of course, making that sheet would be absurdly difficult and time-consuming. I mean, maybe as NPCs. y'know, guys that just stand there and drop hints, like Toad in SM64. lol, 'cept the Warios wouldn't be any help, they'd just taunt you.

really good. It matches the style really well! I could actually see myself using these. Only thing i think is missing is his tongue. He should still be able to grab stuff with his tongue.

Sweet man. I'm planning a game with all four plumbers in sml2 style. These are perfect and i'll give you and AJ credit.
