The desert colouration is kind lame ;) I would suggest making an actual sand tile instead of having tan coloured grass ;)

Whoa, that's some terrific tileset... But I see some flaws on this work... 1-The 'shrooms are pillowed. 2-The star looks kinda misshapen. 3-You can add some anti-aliasing on the blocks. 4-The small POW blocks are lacking animation 5-I don't seem to find the sloped pipes's finish/end. 6-The Bullet Bill cannon is pillowed. 7-The shroom platforms, too. 8-Same with the trees. Yeah, that's it. Sorry if I'm being nitpicky :/
