This example shows how to use Mid$ to create text that appears as if it's being typed on a typewriter, or in the style of many RPGs. Useful for conversations or introductions.

It can be used with RPGs, story plots... all sorts of things that may appear in a Mario game.

Ha I just remembered you could use Left$ instead

But Mid$ is a lot more 1337 since you can make a cheap "scrolling" type of effect like audio players or LED signs

Is this really the first time this type of tutorial has been on MFGG? Huh, I remember downloading something like this a few years ago. Must have been from The Daily Click or something.

Unless it was hidden in another how-to or something.
I did a quick check before I submitted this so I could have missed somehting.

There used to be a few on SFGHQ if I remember rightly...

This is so cool!!! I might even use this!!! Thank you so much for submitting this. This is probably the best example for MMF2 I have ever seen.
