General Commentary and Game Overview

Super Luigi Dreams is a great platformer with excellent graphics and music, but the insane levels of difficulty lowers my score.

Pros	-Great Graphics -Great Sound -Cool levels -Lots of secrets
Cons	-unfair levels of difficulty (Example, one level will be incredibly easy, then the next will be incredibly tough and unfair) -some platforms are placed too closely together, making some jumps mind-numbingly frustrating. -UGLY dialouge boxes

Impressions

Gameplay 6 / 10	The gameplay is basic Mario stuff, just jump from platform to platform, grab some coins, a mushroom, whatever. However, this game is hard. And I mean HARD. You'll play the first level and say, "Hmm.. this isn't that hard!", and soon you progress to the next level, where you try to jump from blue block to blue block- but they are so closely put together that it'll take you 20 tries or more before you actually succeed. Another problem that I had is that some levels are so easy, but right after that comes a level that is so tough that you will be pulling your hair out. It all just seems out of order. It seems as though Hatman tried a bit too hard to make the game challanging. Oh- I almost forgot- the bosses are freakin' awesome.
Graphics 9 / 10	The graphics are excellent. I love the sprites, the little cutscenes, and the map. The only things I hate are the ugly dialouge boxes. The title screen is boring too, but who cares- I think people would rather play the game then stare at the title screen.
Sound 10 / 10	The music and sound is perfect. 'Nuff said.
Replay 7 / 10	I can't see myself playing this game again because of the frustration I went through trying to get through it once. However, the secrets had me saying "I must unlock all secrets", so I wasn't satisfied untill I got everything.

Final Words

SLG is a great looking game, has excellent sound, and loads of secrets, but the game can get a bit too challanging for it's own good.
