General Commentary and Game Overview
Well, I was surprised to see something like this pop up. After all, I did say in lots of reviews that I don't tolerate Hello edits that either (a) Is a pooor edit of the engine or (b) Just plain sucks.

SMB Old RMX apparently has all-new levels that have a great balance in difficulty (With the exception of few cheap hits) and they all resemble the oldschool goodness of SMB that all of the crappy Hello edits lack. Even though Hello's all over it, it certainly is playable.

However, it can only go so far as to going good, as there are still some irritating glitches lurking the game (Such as being able to have collected 100 coins without getting a 1up), as well as the biggest flaw: No save function, and when you press "Continue", it takes you to World 1-1.

Pros -Level design
-Nice use of graphics

Cons -Glitches
-Lack of save function
-Continue means Restart whole thing

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
The gameplay is really unchanged from the Hello engine. However, here, we actually have a couple new additions that happen to be more key Mario elements (Upside down plants, P-Switch, etc). Plus, the level design is very good. However, I don't feel like this was tested enough, as one P-Switch was set far after the invisible block it affects, and you can't make the camera move back.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics are certainly the same as in the Hello edit, also, but the built-in graphics actually make the game look pretty good. After all, bunches of the tilesets weren't used a lot (I wonder why...), and when this game used those tilesets, they add in fresh level themes that I wish were seen often in other Hello edits (Whatever game that uses them, like Bowser's Tricky Castle and Desert Dares just plain abuses those looks).

Sound
6 / 10
The music and sound effects are also the same as SMB, although I noticed the beginning of the SMB1 theme has been slightly cut off. I just don't see why that should happen.

Replay
6 / 10
Well, I kinda like this one. It's work a look if you want to play something that even remotely resembles the classic Mario games. Be warned about not being able to save or really continue, though.

Final Words
6 / 10
I wanted to like this game. After all, it actually had good level design, unlike all of the bad Hello edits. Unfortunately, certain glitches and the lack of a save function, considering this is a 32-level-long game, (Clicking Continue drags you to the first level...) drops the score down.

Ugh, are you kidding? This has way too many glitches and physics that are way too horrible for it to be even remotely playable.

I'll admit I overrated it.
