General Commentary and Game Overview
OK, here's a game about a robot called Goombot. I wonder what happened to Goombot 1. Whatever, let's get the super tasy omega story!
Story: OK, well, Goombot destroyed Mario (I think he just beat him up)and then Bowser ruled the Mushroom Kingdom and someone made a robot Bowser named Bowserbot. Bowserbot wanted to bring peace to the Mushroom Kingdom.

So Goombot went on a quest to beat the creator(I really don't know, this whole thing is really confusing).
OK, basically, this is the newest demo of a sequel of a game on this site. The overall engine is OK, but the speed of Goombot kinda bothers me. He's super slippery, and moves very fast. He's just like Mario, exept for his movements I just stated.
The weird thing is that Goombot eats mushrooms. This is weird since robots can't eat, but it's just me. I rather it be oil, or something at least humans can't eat. I'm gonna bring up Ztar Curse a lot so yeah, and here I bring it up. In this game, he finally added
? Blocks. These weren't in the demo of Ztar Curse or the final version, so that's a nice addition. On to the pros.

Pros +Creative story
+You play as a creature that barely gets stared in fangames.(BUT A ROBOT FORM!)
+Not so much glitches

Cons You know how I said the game had not so much glitches, but here's the glitches and problems.
-Slippery Engine, I once fell because it was so slippery.
-There was a very strange glitch where I fell through the ground.
-Dificult Bosses

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
Well, 7/10 because of the slippery engine. You know, at the second world, the level before the boss, there was a airship level. I was jumping, and then I fell through the floor and died.
The engine is very slippery, and Goombot is really fast. For a game like this, you don't even need a run button. In Ztar Curse there was no blocks(One Exeption: Save Blocks)but Djemiegoomba added it in here.
There was a couple of items added in, those being coins which do nothing since that there's no lives, mushrooms which restore your health, I hope this actually gets changed, because robots can't eat and I think it should be actually oil,
and there's this item that looks like a health extension from Super Mario Galaxy but instead restores all your health. Plus, at that chain chomp part, if you get hit, you get knocked back behind the chain chomp.
You might say oh well, that's well and good, but no, the chain chomp eats all the blocks making it impossible to reach your destination, so the only thing you can do is go and kill yourself, to be careful.

The bosses are incredibly hard. It took a couple of HOURS to beat the first boss, and that's telling me something. The second boss was incredibly hard too, and once I got to certain part, I had to close because of the insane difficulty.
The health system is not a suprise either, it's just like the one in Ztar Curse, instead of having that big icon thing, you have them seperated in hearts, but the same thing gameplay wise.
The breakable blocks are just the same in any Mario game, nothing special there.
Here are the enemies, Goombas, Koopas, which when they go into a shell they start moving automatically, which does not happen in the official games, and some others.
The bosses I can't actually remember, so you've got to play the game for that. I just remember they were incredibly difficult.
But in each level, you've got to fight a clone Goombot, which at the airship level was super annoying, because bullet bills were also shoting at you during the fight. And the other Goombot seemed to be uneffected by this.
Plus all the bosses had some special ability.

Graphics
6 / 10
Nothing special here, just your player is a recolored goomba, of which style I don't know, suprisingly, everything fits here,
untill the later levels. In the later levels, the tiles start getting recolored, and it got repetitive.
But, it has that tileset. It looks good,(to me)but that dreaded tileset that people hate when the see it not recolored. The Black Squirell Tileset 2007.
People just absolutley hate this tileset because of the horrible pallet Black Squirell chose, which he did for a reason. This does not exaclty bother me, but it shows a lack of not paying attention or laziness.
6/10.

Sound
6 / 10
They are good, but in some levels, they just don't fit! I mean, Waluigi Land(Whatever)Music from Mario Kart DS, which is not a bad song, but just does not fit in the first level in a grassland, in a platformer. This defenitly recives a 6/10.
The sounds are your everyday Mario sound effects. Sorry for a short sounds, but they are not a lot.
6/10.

Replay
5 / 10
Don't expect any replay value from a demo, plus it's not long, the levels are not that flavorfull,(Sorry djemiegoomba)and you won't come back.
I can't wait what the full version would be like, because I know this can become a great game.
5/10.

Final Words
6 / 10
6/10, I know this can become a great game someday, but just not this demo.

The style of the goomba (I don't know if this is true, the creator of the style better correct me)is Super Mario Cox.

Ehm, the coins aren't useless, if you collect 100 of them, your health will be restored to the maximum amount of 4. I know it's not really much, maybe I can make a shop system or just add lives.

I finally fixed the glitch where you fell trough the ground. And BTW, did you really spent a couple of HOURS to defeat the FIRST boss? He's not that hard, I think.

OK, betend that's there.

If you are talking about the WORLD boss, yes.
Yep, and I think you should change from the boss having a random chance of doing a move, to an attack pattern. I don't know how to do this, but it's better because you'l wait about 2 minutes for the boss to do the move that lets you hurt the boss.
