I like it, though it's a bit pillowshaded.

I like the lineart, but it certainly is pillow shaded. Also, I'm not sure if this was the intention, but it isn't really in the same style as the mario.

It's nice. Pillowshaded, yes, but it's actually not that bad. Fitting, almost. I guess you just did everything right, then.

The sprite's construction is cool, not too sure about the choice of color though. You should shade it more dramatically.
