NSMBW Tilesets in SMW style By: Assassannerr koopa [E] [W]
New Super Mario Bros Wii tilesets edited to look like Super Mario World tiles.
I was only going to do half of these but of the staff members said he would accept this if I made all of them and it took a while but here it is. I needed these for a fangame and I thought if there useful to me they might be useful to someone else.
I might update this sheet later if my fangame requires more tiles like the sewer and underground.
give credit if used.

That's NSMB. not NSMB Wii! In NSMB Wii, the grass tileset has got brown waves; in NSMB DS the waves are red.

I agree with Dixiklo. I don't recall a purple mushroom platform in NSMBWII, there's no red bonus blocks, the grass bottoms in NSMBWII look sharper, and there were forest slopes. Not to mention you can't see through the poison water in NSMBWII.

the reason you can see through the acid is because of this style. and those things you guys have pointed out i put in as extras. and about the wave well it looked this color to me on my wii ive never played the DS one so i dont know what it looked like in ds.
the extras i found in a hack video on youtube.

Maybe someone can re-trace the original NSMB Wii tilesets and then color them like in 16-bit.

That could be like a 16-bit styles SMBWii Tileset.

it still wouldent look right thoe the NSMBW tilesets are:
1. too big for comparison
2. cant be ripped anyway becuase NSMBW is a 2.5D game

Uh, hello? PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY RIPPED THOSE TILES!

Besides, you can also rip the tiles using (a certain NSMBWii level editor which I will not name because I heard it's illegal on this site to mention hacking tools). And even if the game were 3D, people would find a way to rip the textures.

EDIT: Oh, and nice tileset! Although, yes, like others said, it's NSMB, not NSMBWii.

i did not actually because nowadays people want credit for looking at there sheet. if i even used another sheet for referance then somebody would want credit for it even if i dident use it. i used my wii and the no credit needed origional SMW ripps (for sise comparison)

Wait, if you haven't played the DS one, you can still make stuff based on that game, and you did. In order to get these you'd have to search for NSMBDS tiles, and "NSMBDS" (or something like that) would be in the title. If you've played the Wii version, wouldn't you know instantly that these are not from the Wii version?

And also, I wasn't talking about a standard ripping program, I was talking about a level editing program. You use the PrintScreen button on your keyboard to rip the NSMBWii or DS tiles, depending on what editor you use.

NO! What i did was find the ripps for the regular Mario World tiles (from the GBA) and that was for sise comparison i colored them all black and freehand drew them to look like the NSMBW ones. because i new people would want to see the DS ones i looked for Videos on Youtube of gameplay witch i then made some extra tiles from. but overall the main tiles are based off of the SMBBWii game. wile the lesser stuff (bouncy mushrooms, Ice, Water Etc.) were based on the NSMBds Game. as i said earlyer and why does it matter to you so much? the tiles are basically the same and ive already stated ive never played the DS one so
i dont know what you want me to do. sheesh why does everyone have to be a Critic?

Well, believe it or not the "hacking tool" you just mentioned, is NOT illegal. I have made a thousand levels/tilesets (Not really a thousand, actually a quite few)...
