Fun in Space is a strange shmup style game starring Mario and Luigi, created under the restictions of using various rejected MFGG sprites. Play as Mario, Luigi or both and go through five levels each ending with their own boss! Now with cutscenes and multiple endings! Try not to let the graphics deceive you, this is intended to be a proper, fun game!

Loved every second of it! I adored the background effect in level 3; and level 4 was definitely a huge step up in difficulty - I lost 8 lives! Cudos, I love your work! Excellent job!

So did you have to try to submit bad sprites, wait for them to get rejected, then use them? That must have taken a long time.

Nope, they gave a batch of sprites that were either rejected or were generally oddball most likely to be rejected I believe, and no graphics outside of that batch and possibly the occasional text box or solid color could be used.

Great game, if you liked making this game enough I'd say make a sequel- or just a remake with possibly nicer sprites.
