General Commentary and Game Overview
Gravity Goomba is a charming little game with a lot of interesting ideas. There were a couple areas where the game did lack, but all in all, its strengths won over.

Pros +Good music
+Interesting concept
+The 'star locating device' is quite useful

Cons -Slightly frustrating at times
-The rapidly switching gravity got a bit confusing
-Not a ton of replay

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
At the start, the gameplay seemed quite enjoyable and very effective. However, as I continued and got into more challenging situations, the novelty of gravity switching started to wear off and change into a bit of frustration. At times, I found it very difficult to control my movement because I was constantly being pulled in directions that I didn't want to go. This caused me to die a lot. Also, I did find it to be quite disorienting at times when the screen kept flipping around on me.
I quite enjoyed most of the level design though. The one level was packed with a lot of different, interesting little gimmicks that did make it enjoyable. The bosses were also well designed, if a bit difficult at times. The ability to locate stars was also a clever (and very necessary) feature.

Graphics
7 / 10
While the graphics are mainly SMB3, they still work pretty well. Since they aren't used in the traditional manner, the graphics still look fresh and interesting, and it avoids the 'clone-y' look.
The only thing that I really don't care for is the background. I think something simpler like a starry background (no hills) would have been much more effective, especially if it didn't rotate.
Also, while it is a useful feature, the graphics for the star locating function look more like a beta test than a final product. Something like a flashing star in the general direction would probably be more effective.

Sound
9 / 10
Honestly, I really liked the sounds in this game. They were simple and very effective.
You're very good at picking simple music to fit with your games (see cheep rides). The songs really enhance the gameplay without being too distracting.

Replay
4 / 10
While the game was charming and fun, I'm not sure that I would replay it over and over. As well as the frustration factor, there just wasn't enough content.
It's not that there wasn't enough content for it to be considered a full game. It's just that it didn't quite seem to be organized in a way that made it feel like a proper game. Had the stars been separated into levels, or had I even had a way to easily track my stars, it would have been more enjoyable and it would have felt more like a complete game. And of course, replay is always enhanced by having unlockables and achievements, which this game did not.

Final Words
8 / 10
While it does falter in a couple areas, it was an enjoyable game nevertheless.
