General Commentary and Game Overview
This game is good, but it needs some work: it's way too hard, the fish boss needs to be easier (it was harder than the world 1 boss) and it needs a better story in my opinion.

Pros +Levels are unique and fun to play
+Enemies are original
+The graphics almost don't clash
+Music fits perfectly

Cons -Way too hard for the first world
-The fish boss it too hard, even harder than the world 1 boss
-Some parts are a bit unfair, like the final part of the cloud level
-Enemies are too easy to kill with that shield

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
Well, like I said, way too hard for a first world, and the fish boss is harder than the world 1 boss, mini-bosses shouldn't be harder than normal bosses! But Toad's movement is well programmed and the enemies are too. Some bugs, but no big ones.

Graphics
7 / 10
They fit good with each other, but some enemies are in another style, like Lakitu, he's in SMW style and the other graphics are in SMB3 style. Anyway, that's no big point, because the animations are good.

Sound
9 / 10
Music fits perfectly with the levels you're playing and the sound effects are pretty good, especially the voices.

Replay
1 / 10
Because of the difficulty, I won't play this game again, unless you will make it easier in the final version. I only finished world 1 because I else couldn't make a review, so I really didn't enjoy it so I won't enjoy to play it again.

Final Words
5 / 10
This game is way too hard and I didn't enjoy playing it. It has potential, but you ruined that with the difficulty and the bad story. If you'll fix that, this game can be very good.

So wait, the only problem you had with the gameplay was the difficulty? I'm sure docking 6 points for that one thing is a little harsh, don't you think?

the sound effects are the standard SMB3 effects.

Um, no they're not. The jumping sound is from that NSMBW website soundpack, the landing sound and the hurt sound are from SPM, and the hitting a block from below sound is from Yoshi's Island. There are hardly any SMB3 sound effects in the game.

Ha ha, you've never played Mega Man, have you? That part is supposed to be based on the spike-lined shafts from that series. You're lucky they're not instant death, like they are in Mega Man!

I actually thought the difficulty was pretty tame, especially considering the sort of challenges I go through in games...

Well, about that sound effects, sorry. But I stand to my decision that was pretty unfair. But fine, I'll edit my review and give it higher for sounds.

Maybe I'll move that part to a later world. Other than that part, I'm going to need some specific areas you thought were unfair, otherwise I won't be able to fix it.
Also, don't worry, the story will get better. Expect some twists in later worlds.

Well, especially that part of the cloud level, but you already know that. Also, sometimes it's unfair because there are too many enemies and the Fish Boss is unfair because he's way too hard for a mini-boss of world 1.

But what about making world 1 world 3 or such and make a total other world 1, you then don't even have to edit the levels!
