General Commentary and Game Overview
Luigi and The Mansion is overall a well developed 3D Fan-Game, and it is blatant to me that a reasonable amount of effort was put into it. The game was in fact short, with some minor issues here and there, but overall was one of the best 3D fan-games I have seen developed. It was quite some guess work figuring out what to and where to go at different points in the game though.

This review is not based on other games or any developed by Nintendo, etc.

Pros - 16:9 Aspect Ratio
- Okay 3D
- Complete Game
- Kept me on the edge, but maybe I just scare easy.

Cons - VERY Basic 3D Modeling
- Half-Baked Story-line
- Where am I supposed to go?
- Short

Impressions
Gameplay
5 / 10
I beat the game in like, 20 minutes! The game-play was okay. To start the game, I had no idea where to go. throughout the rest of the game, you have to guess where you have to go, what rooms, etc, without any guidance whatsoever. To add onto this, you can only have 3 lives maximum, and can only hold 3 batteries? I know that you have to keep the game interesting, but still. On that note, mushrooms and batteries were everywhere. And yes, you do move relatively slow. Not as slow as others would have you think, but still slow.

Graphics
4 / 10
I've seen reviews on this game that have said that have had issues with the lightning flash, which works perfectly well. Two words: Graphics card. If you have a decent graphics card, everything should look okay.
But critically, there were enemy's which had ZERO texturing, were a giant Misshapen ellipse, and the doors... just didn't look right. The walls are bare, the bookshelves seem like there is something behind them. There were no transitions (which are in fact possible in 3D) and last but not least: do a BIT more 3D modeling, maybe have a 3rd person view?

Sound
8 / 10
Okay, the music on the first floor wasn't that bad, but there wasn't much else to hear. when you left the floor, there was nothing to be heard, kind of like the original Luigi's Mansion. The sound effects got kind of mixed up at points (such as at the end of the game), but I never had an issue with them being scattered.

Replay
1 / 10
Replay value? Are you kidding me? There's like, nothing there. The game was short, easy, and some things went unexplained. I would not play this game again unless I was REALLY bored. Play it once, get it over with.

Final Words
4 / 10
An Okay 3D fan-game with a lot of wasted potential, and no direction on how to win.

So wait, my computer that I bought 3 months ago that can graphically handle various games I have bought on Steam and 3D modeling but can't handle a basic lightning effect done poorly in Game Maker? This isn't a issue with anyone's graphics card, it's a clipping glitch that the game itself has. Otherwise, this was a fair review.
