General Commentary and Game Overview
Well, you know me if you've been following my reviews (For some reason). I just go and play the older MFGG games. I will admit, though, that Super Mario: Double Trouble had NEVER interested me. The reviewers certainly didn't help, either, so I totally ignored it....Until now, but really, I am just plain bored, so I suggested "Meh...why not?"

Lemme just simply say...that was a mistake.

Pros -Mario's in it...

Cons -The collisions are awful
-Mario's physics lead to frustrating deaths
-"Double Trouble" seems like a subtitle that was simply stapled onto this supposedly generic Mario platformer

Impressions
Gameplay
3 / 10
Holy crap. I haven't played something this broken since Super Mario World 1 1/2. Okay, so it isn't that horrid, but it was still bad. The collision detection is the worst. There are usually times where you're seeing Mario spaz atop the bricks. Speaking of which, his physics aren't perfect either. When you let go of the arrow key, Mario still moves. This makes jumping from place to place more complicated than it should be, and leads to cheap deaths.

Graphics
6 / 10
Well, the graphics don't seem all too bad. After all, you do get sprites straight out of SMW and All-Stars. And the title screen and Game Over logos look neat. But that's all this has to offer, and it certainly isn't a sight to see Mario out of control when it comes to collisions.

Sound
5 / 10
It's the usual SMB1 theme and underground music. Even for 2003, I get that feeling that fangames use these tunes waaay too much.

Replay
1 / 10
There are lots and lots of games on MFGG, and a great amount are pretty satisfying. This does not fit into that category. I don't see anybody wanting to come back and play this, especially since this a demo.

Final Words
3 / 10
From the pointless use of the subtitle to horrible collisions and physics, Super Mario: Double Trouble, is one to place into the Recycle Bin.
