It's an okay recolorr but you should try editing the sprites themselves if you want to make them look modern.

It isn't that modern in my opinion. It has the same shading, just the colors the modern ones have. That doesn't immediately make it modern. Reshading and editing would help, so that it in't just a recolor.

the only one you got right was Morton, because: Larry's mohawk does not look different, just a recolor Wendy's mouth is not shut Iggy's hair does NOT resemble a palm tree Roy's shell ain't purple Lemmy does not have his ponytail Ludwig's shade of blue should be darker that's what you should fix up, MAJORLY! but... i have submitted a sheet of the Koopalings even You might be surprised of
